This is a young adult fantasy about self-discovery, redemption, and the powerful grip shame can have on our lives. It is set in a fictional country loosely inspired by the Yoruba and Igbo tribes of Nigeria.

I started writing this story in 2022 and finished in the spring of 2022. During NanoWrimo 2023, I focused on revisions and editing. I started querying this manuscript in January 2024 and in May 2024, I signed with my agent, Dorian Maffei at Kimberley Cameron & Associates!
